SMITCH + Co. is an independent femme-led zine covering the convergence of cultural studies and narrative experience. We are accepting personal essays and articles ahead of our Fall launch.

Theme: MEDIA + ADOLESCENCE

We are accepting pitches from freelancers across experience-levels. Are you a student? Great! Still finding your writer’s voice? That’s fine! We want to highlight people with unique observations on the ways that cultural phenomena impact our collective memory. You can speak to that in various ways and we want to see how you do so.

Reflect on the media you consumed as a younger person and how that has shaped your notions of gender, identity, race, sexuality, and relational dynamics between womxn. We look forward to hearing from you.
